Author's Notes: Written for palmetto , who asked on her wishlist for "Fic about Boomer that ends happily for her." This is probably not what anyone would think of automatically when they think happy (hello slightly abstract notion?), but it gripped my brain and wouldn't let go, and was glorious catharsis for my relationship with Boomer and how much I too wanted this happy ending for her. (It's also what I sort of consider a bookend to my pre-series Sharon&Kara friendship fic that was written for the Kara Gen Ficathon.)
